We are sorry that you require hospitalization but we are very pleased that you have chosen Saint Francis Memorial Hospital for your medical care.  As you plan for your hospitalization, we recommend that you only bring essential items such as a robe, slippers, personal care items and no more than $10 cash.  Please do not bring jewelry, wallets or electrical appliances.

The hospital maintains a fireproof safe for safekeeping of money and valuables.  If you arrive with a cane, walker or wheelchair, we recommend that these items be returned to you home while you are here at our hospital.

All medications you take while you are in our hospital are prescribed by your physician, dispensed by our hospital pharmacy and administered by a nurse.  Patients are not permitted to keep their own drugs or keep personal medications (including vitamins, herbs or nutritional supplements) at their bedsides unless specifically ordered by their physician.
