Visitors can be good medicine for patients.
Family members and friends are welcome to visit. However, patient
care is our primary concern, and, in order to enhance the quality
of care, specific visiting hours and regulations have been
established for each unit. Please follow these guidelines. If
you need additional information, please check with the nurse on the
unit.
Visiting hours
are:
11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily.
To arrange visits outside these hours, please
call the nursing unit in advance.
ICU/CCU visits are for immediate family only,
5 to 15 minutes per hour, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 8:30
p.m. Please check in with the nurse. No children under age 10 will
be allowed in the critical care unit.
Visitors arriving after 8:30 p.m. will sign in
at the Public Safety Office adjacent to the Emergency Department
and will be issued a badge and will not proceed to the patient care
unit until the security officer has called the unit and received
approval from the nursing supervisor or designee.
The main entrance of the hospital is locked
between the hours of 8:30 p.m. and 5:45 a.m., weekends and
holidays. Please enter the hospital through the Emergency
Department during this time.
