Located in Downtown San Francisco, Saint Francis Memorial Hospital was founded by a group of dedicated physicians in 1905.  Today Saint Francis is known for it's clinical centers of excellence in Spine Care, Total Joint, Sports Medicine, Acute Burn Care, Occupational Medicine and Emergency Medicine.  The hospital serves the City's most diverse and densely populated  neighborhoods. with a full spectrum of adult care ranging from emergency to outpatient services.  The hospital boasts a staff of over 500 physicians, many holding teaching appointments at local prestigious medical schools colleges and universities.
