Patient Registration
Information:
First Time Patient
Registration
New patients must register at the Outpatient Registration desk
prior to visiting the Total Joint Center for the first time. We
suggest that you arrive 20 - 30 minutes early for your first
appointment to allow enough time to register. The Outpatient
Registration desk is located on the lobby level of the Hospital in
the Pierotti Pavillion. Simply look for or ask to be directed to
the Outpatient Registration desk.
Surgical Patient
Registration
Surgical patients must register at the hospital's Admissions Office
prior to surgery. An appointment for you to complete this
registration will be coordinated for you by the Total Joint Center
during your pre-operative visit. The Admissions Office is located
off the main lobby of the hospital.
Updating
Registration Information
Accurate
patient information is essential for correctly filing claims and
generating patient schedules, physician's letters and account
statements. Therefore, please inform our registration staff or
Total Joint Center staff whenever there is a change in your
health-insurance coverage, mailing address, phone number, emergency
contacts or local address while at the center. It is the your
responsibility to provide this information in a timely manner. The
filing of your insurance claim depends on your starting this
process with our Registration staff when you arrive at the Total
Joint Center.

The hospital has a staff of Patient Financial
Advisors available to answer your questions about insurance and
billing. In addition, the Total Joint Center is available to assist
you.
