Dr. Hong's training focused on
inter-disciplinary approaches to conditions and diseases that
affect the spine and peripheral musculoskeletal system. He
specializes in aggressive diagnostic and non-surgical, minimally
invasive conservative treatment for conditions and diseases of the
spine and peripheral musculoskeletal system, including
flouroscopically guided epidural steriod, facet and radiofrequency
denervation, discography, intradiscal catheterization and
electrodiagnostic studies.
He has published papers relating to
Intradiscal Electrothermal Therapy (IDET) and Intradiscal
Injections. His research interests include the further study
of nonsurgical, minimally invasive treatments for
degenerative diseases of the spine and peripheral joints.
