After that she went on to a career as an acrobat in the Cirque du Soleil and performed in "Mystere" in Las Vegas for 2 years before attending medical school. She has continued to work for the Cirque du Soleil from time to time while pursuing her medical career. Presently she provides medical care for a wide variety of recreational and professional athletes as well as the Cirque du Soleil and other performing artists.

While she has had extensive experience treating elite athletes and performing artists she also enjoys taking care of recreational athletes. She enjoys athletic injuries and related issues in all age groups, including medical conditions such as exercise-induced bronchoconstriction, athletes with diabetes, doping issues/testing, counseling, eating disorders as well as injury management and prevention.
