Certification: Board Certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the Amercian Board of Podiatric Surgery

Dr. Hiatt treats a wide range of foot and ankle problems. Some of the most common pathologies he treats are:

  • Achilles tendon injuries
  • Ankle sprains and fractures
  • Arthritis and stiffness of the foot and ankle
  • Bunions
  • Hammertoes
  • Tendon injuries of the foot ankle
  • Stress fractures
  • Flatfoot deformities
  • Shin splints
  • Sports injuries

Dr. Hiatt enjoys treating sports-related foot and ankle injuries. He seeks to maximize his patients’ function and activity. This is usually accomplished through rehabiliation, biomechanical management of the problem and appropriate physical activity.

As a board certified surgeon, Dr. Hiatt specializes in the surgical management of tendon and bone injuries, flatfoot deformities, and other biomechanical ailments of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Hiatt lectures to local running clubs and school sports programs about foot and ankle injuries. He is an active reacreational athlete participating in basketball, mountain biking and any sport his children want to play. Dr. Hiatt can be reached at the Walnut Creek Center for Sports Medicine.
