Initial employer (client) inquiries about using our Health Centers are returned within 24 hours. Skyrocketing costs in Workers' Compensation underscores the importance of carefully nurturing these employer relationships. These relationship are nurtured through constant communication.
Injured workers are fully cared for by bringing together the vast medical resources and expertise within the hospital. Our providers channel patients throughout the SFMH specialist network and system. If clients have their own Medical Provider Network [MPN] we work within those recommended guidelines.
Insurance companies require timely information and, therefore, we designed our authorization system as an intermediary between the patient, the insurance company and the employer. This personal contact and follow up expedites the usual delays in authorizations and gets the patient the treatment needed to return to a full, productive lifestyle.
Patient Advocacy. We practice early return-to-work through modified activities - a proven method of expediting the healing process.
