Dr. Valmassy's interests include: Sports related injuries with a particular interest in the pediatric and adolescent population; evaluation and treatment of lower extremity problems including surgical correction of muscular abnormalities.
He is a contributing editor to four periodicals and is an author of the published textbook "Clinical Biomechanics of the Lower Extremity." He has also authored over 50 journal articles, 4 additional book chapters and has delivered over 150 academic presentations at national and international professional meetings. He is a Vice-President of the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics & Primary Podiatric Medicine; and a Professor and past Chairman of the Department of Podiatric Biomechanics; and California College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Valmassy's hobbies include running, skiing, collecting military miniatures.
