Our Staff
The Total Joint Center at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital is an inter-disciplinary program. The physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, discharge planners and chaplains work together with the dieticians and housekeepers to assure that your hospital stay is excellent and that your recovery is rapid.
The Nurse Manager of the Total Joint Center is committed to assist you with your care throughout the pre-op and post-op process. She acts as a liaison between you, the doctor, the hospital and any other staff. She will answer your questions and coordinate your care with other Joint Team members. The Nurse Manager is there to assist you in any way she can to make certain that your experience with the total Joint Center is a pleasant one. The current Nurse Manager is Judith Bolker, BSN, MAPT.
Judith Bolker, BSN; MAPT, graduated from Sacramento State University School of Nursing with Honors; she then went on to receive her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Stanford University. She worked as Director of Back School Programs at Carlson Sports injury in Redwood City. She received special training from Dr. Arthur White in treatment of patients with back and neck problems.
In 1990, Judith started working at the Sequoias-SF and became Director of Rehab, working with many patients with total hips, knees and shoulders. In October, 2000, Judith was hired by Saint Francis Memorial Hospital to help develop the Total Joint Center, along with the Medical Director, Dr. Thomas Sampson.
